With reports of a heatwave about to hit the UK I'm sure there'll be thousands of families heading for the coast this weekend...trying to keep cool!
How about staying home and creating a seaside room for the kids that will last longer than the British Summer...!!?

Wooden flooring in a 'sun-bleached' shade works well on the floors.
Add colour with a deck-chair stripe rug...or a funky graphic!

Have some fun with the accessories...cushions, artwork, toys and lighting can make the room...whether contemporary......
....or more traditional...
Add a personal touch...maybe something that reminds you of previous holidays at the seaside...or a coastal town local to you...!
